VP Business Support Manager

Overview

Provide leadership and support to a variety of risk management activities in support of the Chief Risk Office Strategic Agenda.  Facilitate the creation of presentation material.  Support the CRO in creating and executing operating best practices to ensure the Bank’s Insurance Coverages are current and renewed timely.  Assist with the implementation of the enterprise risk management programs for the Bank and promoting a company-wide culture of compliance and risk management among senior management and business units.

Responsibilities

  1. Focus of role is to support the Chief Risk Office in executing its strategic agenda through organizational design and program development.
  2. Generates content for executive level meetings, business presentations, townhalls, travel, corporate communications, etc.
  3. Supports the CRO in creating and executing operating best practices to ensure the Bank’s Insurance Coverages are current and renewed timely.
  4. Supports The Bancorp’s supplier diversity objectives, which includes, but is not limited to, serving as The Bancorp liaison for diverse suppliers and diverse supplier organizations, tracking diverse supplier statistics and certifications, and coordinating diverse supplier presentations and training.
  5. Works directly with Managing Directors and Directors within the risk organization to ensure the successful execution of their business objectives.
  6. Interacts daily with all levels of the risk organization, reviewing and gaining feedback on: resource allocation, critical risk initiatives, business control performance, emerging risks, topics requiring escalation, and human performance.
  7. Conducts and supports quarterly business/organizational reviews, including headcount ratios, hiring status, financials, etc.
  8. Supports the risk organization compliance coordination, including mandatory training, etc.
  9. Act as coordinator between the risk teams, COO Chief of Staff, Human Resources, Project Management, and Technology teams to ensure alignment in the usage of the internal tools used to track cross-LOB programs impacting risk.
  10. Supports the risk organization through the development of an internal technology tools to promote and drive culture of safety and soundness across the Bank.
  11. Works with globally distributed teams to coordinate various types of information and projects, including risk surveys, trend analysis, and support the overall budget process.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.
