All of this takes place in a peerless Art Nouveau architectural setup designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and declared historic, artistic heritage half a century ago. Our tour will end with a tasting of different “cavas reserva” together with some sweet products carefully chosen by our private cava specialist, who will guide us in a paired tasting to take this experience to another level. Say Goodbye, But Not Farewell to Barcelona.

Today, The Bancorp’s Barcelona excursion comes to an end. Perhaps a newfound knowledge and appreciation of Barcelona will inspire you to return to this Spanish jewel by the sea.

Based on your departure flight time, you’ll be greeted in the Hotel Arts Barcelona lobby by your English-speaking driver for your luxury vehicle transportation to the Barcelona airport.*

Important Considerations for Your Trip to Barcelona:

Weather

As a Mediterranean city, Barcelona enjoys pleasant weather almost year-round! In November, the weather can range from 55-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Access a Barcelona 10-day weather report. We recommend packing comfortable shoes, light layers, and rain gear (just in case). During group evening events, we encourage casual dress attire.

Flights

Most airports require a minimum airport arrival time of three hours before international flights. You must have a valid passport to board the flight. The name on your airline tickets and the name on your passport must match. Please confirm your flight numbers and times directly with the airline 24 hours prior to your departure.

*Airport/Hotel Transfers

The Bancorp will not be providing transfers for travelers that are extending their stay. Please keep this in mind if you have made additional arrangements outside of the official trip dates of November 6-9, 2023.

**Times are subject to change.

Dress Code

All touring and excursions involve at least some walking so please plan to wear comfortable footwear during the day. The dress code for evening meals on Monday and Tuesday is smart casual. This includes khakis, dark jeans, leather sneakers, blouses, sweaters, and slacks. The dress code for Wednesday is casual elegant. This means jackets for men and either a dress or more formal pants attire for women.

Credit Card Request Upon Check-In

The Bancorp will be covering the cost of your room for three nights. You will be asked to present your personal credit card at check-in for any incidental charges and/or additional nights you are staying. Kindly note that the Front Desk will place a hold of €150 per day to guarantee the incidentals.
